Photography Students Commissioned to Capture Halton
Photography students from Cronton Sixth Form were recently invited to the Halton Council Municipal Building in Widnes by Chief Executive, David Parr to view their fantastic work displayed in the building.
The students were recently commissioned to take photographs throughout Halton in order to capture the ethos of the borough and create memories. These photos are now displayed in the council offices on Kingsway and the students were delighted visit the offices to see their work exhibited.
Paul Karalius, Photography Tutor at Cronton Sixth Form said, “It was a great experience for the students to work to a real brief and create these photographs for Halton Council. To go and view their work on display was also a fantastic opportunity for them.
“Two of the students, Abbie Green and Aaron Tennant met with David Parr who was very complimentary of their work and encouraged the students to gain as much experience as they could and continue to work hard to succeed. The students have now been asked to take more photos of the borough for another area of the Halton Council offices.”
