Cronton Dancers Enchant Audiences at The Brindley Theatre
Talented dancers training on the Professional Dance Programme at Cronton Sixth Form College impressed a packed audience at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn with their latest production, Coven.
Held over two nights and set to an electric soundtrack of music, the show starred Nakita Argomandkhah (from Widnes) as Selina, Caitlin Sutcliffe (from Warrington) as Madison, Hannah Brown (from Liverpool) as the Mother, and Rachel Myler (from Widnes) as Khalinda.
The dazzling performance tells the story of a young Mother who is forced to give up one of her twin daughters to save them both. Whilst Selina grows up with her Mother, Madison lives within a Coven of Witches, each unaware of the other’s existence.
Benjamin Musa, Artistic Director and Course Leader for The Professional Dance Programme, said, “Coven has been our most adventurous project to date and we couldn’t have been prouder of how it turned out. The feedback we have received has been absolutely amazing, I keep getting emails even a week after the show.
“The students have worked overtime to get the show looking brilliant. They have been in the studio non-stop rehearsing. They really committed to the show and acted like a true company, I couldn’t be prouder of them and the show.”
