Creative talents showcased at IN-HOUSE Exhibition
Staff and students from the Cronton School of Art at Cronton Sixth Form presented a fascinating evening of vocational art & design and a full catwalk fashion show at the annual ‘IN-HOUSE’ exhibition.
The IN-HOUSE exhibition is a key event in the Cronton School of Art calendar. Level 2 BTEC Diploma and Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Art & Design students were given the opportunity to exhibit their fantastic work projects at the College to family, friends, VIP guests and members of the public.
Over the year, students have produced work based on self-managed personal briefs covering a wide variety of themes and specialist subject areas. Their work covers a diverse range of vocational disciplines including; graphic design, games design, illustration, photography, interior design, fashion design, theatre and set design, ceramics, special effects, fine art and architecture.
Mark Smith, Creative Arts Tutor at Cronton, said “The exhibition was a big success; it was very well-attended and we have received lots of positive feedback from guests. Events like this are key for us as they serve to demonstrate the excellent learning opportunities available within our School of Art and celebrate the many achievements of Cronton School of Arts’ diverse and talented student group.”
