Gifted Musicians Excel with Scholarships at Top Music Conservatoires

Talented music students from Cronton Sixth Form College have reached new heights after securing places in two of the most prestigious music conservatoires in the country.
Jennie Worrall and Sonny Fielding who both study A Level music at the college managed to fight off tough competition after proving their talent at difficult auditions.
Jennie has been offered a place in both The Royal Northern College of Music and The Birmingham Conservatoire and with a £3000 scholarship. Sonny, who is currently a Performing Arts Scholar at Cronton Sixth Form, has been offered an amazing £8000 scholarship at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland which has recently been ranked in the top three places for performing arts education in the world.

In September the two gifted students will begin the next stage of the journey in their highly promising music careers when they start their degree courses alongside some of the best up and coming musicians in the country.
Jennie, who has played the tenor horn for the past ten years said, “I have decided to go to The Royal Northern College of Music as it is one of the best in the country; you really have to be one of the best and have an extremely good audition to be offered a place. I am very excited and proud to have achieved this fantastic opportunity.”
Sonny, who has ambitions of becoming a professional opera singer said, “When I heard the news about my scholarship at one of the top music conservatoires in the world it felt incredible. I had a feeling of accomplishment as I have been working towards this goal for a long time.”
