A Cronton Sixth Form Art Tutor is an International Success
With Paul Fay’s sculptures selling internationally he has turned his hand to teaching to pass on his creative skills to the students at Cronton Sixth Form College.
Paul’s career in art began after he achieved a first class honours degree from Manchester Metropolitan University. He then went on to create Only Fools and Horses collectable figurines for the BBC and licensed figures for Marvel. Currently he has sculptured models, created for various well known manufactures selling worldwide and has sculptures of John Lennon on display in the Madelainartz Beatles gallery in Clayton Square, Liverpool and the Halton open Arts exhibition at the Brindley Theatre.
Paul then joined the Art and Design team at Cronton Sixth Form College where he has been teaching students different styles of art and design including his specialism, sculpture to be displayed in the dedicated sculpture garden at the College. Paul said, “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience in such a creative and dynamic environment. Each day brings something new and exciting”.
Maxine Mealey, Head of School for Creative Arts says, “Paul provides an excellent insight into the Creative Arts commercial world. His dynamic teaching style challenges the student’s creativity and allows them to express their talents whilst producing exceptionally high grades and enhancing our student’s employment potential even further.”
