Over the last few years, the college has invested over £20 million in the campus in order to create state of the art learning facilities and modern social areas.
Students will benefit from brand-new facilities at Cronton. Investment in state-of-the-art buildings, facilities, and equipment ensures students gain the skills and experience needed to excel, and improves the whole student journey during their time at college.

The high specification of all the learning environments created in this new facility strengthen our Centre of Sporting Excellence and ensure that our learners benefit from the very latest equipment and technology used in industry.
The Sports Science Laboratory supports both our Level 3 and Higher Education students by developing skills that are being used at the very highest competitive levels within the sporting industry.
The state-of-the-art gym, multi-use sports hall and outdoor functional training zone, all give Sport and Public Services the opportunity to put theory into practice, whilst also benefitting the whole College community with extensive opportunities for enrichment, enhancement and wellbeing activities.
NEW: Health & Care, Digital, Business and Maths Facilities
Students enrolled in our Health and Care courses will utilize our newly established facilities, such as the Simulated Nursing and Care Training Room and Hospital Ward, along with the Science and Health Laboratory.
Students pursuing Business, Computing, or Digital Technology courses at Cronton Sixth Form will gain access to our latest facilities, encompassing business suites and computing suites equipped with cutting-edge gaming PCs to enhance learning and software development, in addition to engaging in the British Esports Championships.

IDEA Centre
The IDEA Centre Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths
This unique facility offers students and employers innovative training facilities including an advanced manufacturing and CAD workshop, a digital and electronics suite, a metrology suite, a process control workshop, a pneumatics and hydraulics lab, a health and fitness suite, a project management suite, meeting rooms, a 3D modelling suite and an Industry 4.0 suite which all prepare students for the Industry 4.0 trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies.
The Cronton Playhouse
The Cronton Playhouse is a brand new 320 seat theatre with orchestra pit. The theatre is home to the very latest technology and an advanced technical booth offering new spectacular effects and high impact sound to further enhance the Centre of Excellence performances to industry standard. The theatre also has a balcony, box office, dressing rooms, greenroom space and a storage area for larger productions.
Dance Studio and Performance Space
A large 16m X 11.5m dance studio with a fully-sprung professional Harlequin floor. The studio is fully equipped with sound & lighting facilities, allowing performances to take place and has mirrors and ballet barres to enhance teaching and dance classes.
Media and Film Suites
This new media facility is equipped with a 5000lm Full HD projector and 4m wide projection screen. The studio also has a separate editing area equipped with industry standard editing and image manipulation software including Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro.
