Cronton Sixth Form Students Inspired by Motorsport Expert Anthony Cliffe

The Centre of Excellence for STEM at Cronton Sixth Form College holds regular guest speaker talks to inspire our students in a range of different fields and industries.

This week, our students from the Centre of Excellence in STEM enjoyed an inspirational talk from leading Motorsport expert, Anthony Cliffe, who spoke about his career and humble route into the industry.

Anthony delivered a detailed account of his educational journey in STEM at college and university.

Our students also had an opportunity to ask questions about his experiences and the skills required to reach high levels within the field.

One STEM student said “It was fascinating! I never considered this industry as a potential STEM field, but I have learnt a lot about how Maths and Physics is heavily used in the design and layout of the cars and their mechanics to ensure success on the track.”
