The Centre of Excellence in Performing Arts Wow Audiences with Jane Eyre

Following on from the overwhelming success of their previous production, Les Miserables, The Centre of Excellence in Performing Arts at Cronton Sixth Form College again captivated audiences with their rendition of Jane Eyre.

The spectacular musical production, based on the classic novel by Charlotte Bronte, was supported by Broadway composer Paul Gordon and took place over three sold-out nights at the College’s Centre Stage Theatre in Kingsway.
All three shows garnered standing ovations following the performances and audience feedback has been overwhelming.
Matt Plant, Head of the Centre of Excellence in Performing Arts, said, “The Centre of Excellence in Performing Arts students have really excelled with the production of Jane Eyre.
“They have all worked extremely hard throughout rehearsals to produce this exceptional piece and the feedback we have received from audience members has been extremely positive, it’s been incredible.”
