Exciting Events at College for Children in Need

Cronton Sixth Form College and Riverside College came together to organise a series of exciting fundraising events in aid of BBC Children in Need 2017, raising a fantastic total of almost £500 for the charity.

Students and staff from both colleges took part in a range of activities including Rock & Roll Bingo, a college quiz, fancy dress Zumba sessions, a staff vs student netball tournament, performances by music students, face painting, bake sales, prize raffles and a wet sponge throwing competition.

College Enrichment Officer, Joe Clements, said “It’s been a really good day, it was great to see so many students coming together to raise money for this fantastic cause. I am very proud of what we have achieved.”
