Creative Students Draw Inspiration at World Museum
Students from the Level 2 Art & Design course at Cronton Sixth Form College enjoyed an educational visit to the Liverpool’s World Museum, where they collected information and visual research for their final major project entitled ‘The Past Inside the Present’.
For the project, students are tasked with choosing a zone in the World Museum to research, such as the planetarium. The students will then design and create an item within their chosen theme; this could be a souvenir gift, a poster for a special exhibition or a wall mural.
Mark Smith, Art & Design Programme Area Leader at Cronton, said “A big thank you to the Liverpool Museums Education Department from the students and staff at Cronton School of Art.
“Everyone really enjoyed the fascinating and diverse range of exhibits and we were accommodated by friendly and helpful museum staff.”
