A former Cronton fashion student, who is currently studying on the BA Hons Degree in Fashion at the University of Central Lancashire, is celebrating after securing a placement at Victoria Secrets. This highly sought after placement will take him to London during the sandwich year of his degree course and then onto New York after he has completed his degree.
Callum Lee who graduated from the BTEC Extended Diploma in Fashion two years ago has returned to the College to give the current Cronton Sixth Form art students advice about the different types of degree courses they can choose and tips about applying for placement and work experience to help give them the best start to their careers.
The previous Wade Deacon pupil, Callum said, “I really enjoyed my time at the College I received loads of support and encouragement from all of my tutors.
The BTEC course in fashion I did was fantastic and it gave me the opportunity to be really creative. There are so many jobs within the fashion industry that you can move onto after College, and I am looking forward to my future career in fashion and my placement with Victoria Secrets in New York.”
