The Student Leadership Team at Cronton Sixth Form are delighted to have raised over £300 for Mind Halton after an exciting day of different activities including bike riding, raffles, cake sales and the chance to soak their favourite tutor in the tutor sponge throwing event.
At the beginning of each academic year The Student Leadership Team choose a charity to raise money for and a target that they hope to achieve. This year’s aim is to raise a fantastic £1,500 for local mental health charity Mind Halton and after the success of this fundraiser, the team are well on their way to achieving their goal.

Ben Barton, Deputy Head of Cronton Sixth Form said, ‘The fundraiser day was a massive achievement for all of the students involved. The Student Leadership, aims to help our learner’s progress into top careers by developing skills and behaviours so students can effectively and efficiently work within high-pressured environments to achieve a given goal. This event today is a perfect example of their progress so far. They have been outstanding both organising and hosting the event. I’m very proud of their achievements. If you would like to find out more information about The Student Leadership Team and meet some of the students then join us at our next Open Evening event on Thursday 27th February.’
