Talented Fashion Student Selected for Clothes Show Live Advertising Campaign
A talented fashion student from Cronton Sixth Form is one of five nationally to be chosen to have a photograph of one of her designs featured in The Clothes Show Live advertising campaign.
Sophie Mason, 17 had her designs modelled by internationally famous models on the Diet Coke Catwalk at Clothes Show Live in December 2014. She was selected as part of the Cronton Sixth Form team who were the only sixth form college invited to join the university students on this stage.
The latest success is further recognition of Sophie’s talent as her design is one of only five photographs being used; the others are from students attending some of the Country’s top fashion university courses.
Sophie said, “I was surprised and elated when I heard that my design was chosen especially as it was chosen against all of the top fashion universities in the country. It will be fantastic to put on my C.V.”
Gary Lamb, tutor on the Level 3 Fashion Course in the Cronton School of Art said, “I am really pleased for Sophie. The Diet Coke organisers where really impressed by the standard of the students work at the show and Sophie’s design really stood out on the catwalk. It is a fantastic achievement and recognition for her, as her design is the face of their campaign. We are already excited about returning to The Clothes Show Live and the Diet Coke catwalk show later this year.”
