Talented Students Awarded Scholarships at Cronton Sixth Form
Fifteen exceptional students at Cronton Sixth Form have enjoyed a wonderful start to their time at college after being presented with a prestigious Cronton Sixth Form scholarship of up to £2000 to help them fulfil their potential and support them with their studies.
The talented students impressed during a series of interviews which took place earlier in the year and were ultimately selected for scholarships in one of the College’s three Centre of Excellence subject areas: STEM, Performing Arts and Sport.
The 2022 scholarship students are:

STEM Scholar Libby Edge commented, “I was over the moon when I found out I had been awarded a Scholarship and was filled with pride as I’m really passionate about STEM. I can’t wait to represent the college as a scholar.”
Performing Arts Scholar Emily Wielebski commented, “I was overjoyed, and it was such an honour to receive a Performing Arts Scholarship at Cronton.”
Sports Scholar Jake Davies commented, “I am really excited to represent Cronton as a Sports Scholar. My tutors at Cronton have provided fantastic support in my sporting goals.”
Ben Barton, Deputy Head at Cronton Sixth Form, commented, “A big congratulations to the scholarship student class of 2022, these are all very well deserved. The scholarships will support these outstanding students and provide financial assistance towards fulfilling their full potential in their chosen fields.”
“The students have impressed during their first term at Cronton, they have excelled in their studies and have been fully involved in all aspects of College life, including participating in the Student Leadership Programme and representing the College in sports teams and at Open Evenings.”
